This quilt is part of our series of easy strip based patterns.  The blocks in this quilt are made from only one strip size (OSS).  The cutting is super easy!  All you need is 2.5" wide strips.  A pair of strips makes 2 blocks.  The block finish 8" square.

There are 48 blocks in the lap quilt.  (The quilt shown on the cover.)  With this pattern we show you a technique that is only possible with THANGLES.  You make what we call a T-Log.  This unit eliminates seams, does not waste fabric and speeds up construction of your quilt.  You can use up your stash making this quilt.

This quilt has 1 block pattern, but you make the blocks in pairs resulting in one block with a dark star and the other with a light star.   

There are many ways to arrange the blocks.  You can alternate light with dark stars. You can put all of the light stars around the outside to form a border.  You can arrange the light and dark stars diagonally. 

The cover quilt finishes 48" wide by 64" long.  Directions are give to make the quilt in 4 other sizes:  Baby, Twin, Queen and King.

The project pack includes the pattern and a pack of 2" Thangles.   For the Queen and King sizes you will need an extra pack of  2" Thangles.
